Ensure your screen is static / interference free: Sometimes a small static charge can build up on the surface of the iPad, which in turn can cause interference on the Pencil.Change / remove your screen protector: A number of users have reported that removing their screen protector has resolved this issue - especially for those with tempered glass protectors. If this doesn't work, you may want to consider replacing your Pencil tip. So i reset, removed and restarted the ipad and the issue is still present. I thought it was my Apple Pencil so I purchased a brand new one thinking that would fix the issue and it didn’t.Still having the same issue. It was only this 1/2 “ area whereas the rest of the screen worked great.
